The workshop HRM in Transition is intended for (HR) managers and/or entrepreneurs who focus on new leadership, new forms of organizing and contemporary management - and want to get started with translating these into matching HR structures, tools and practices.
In this workshop you will get an overview of new forms of organizing and new leadership, partly on the basis of Frederic Laloux's three paradigm breakthroughs.
We start with an exploration of your personal values and ambitions, as well as those of your organization. This increases your insight into how you relate to the HR policy of your organization and is important for your own leadership role as an (HR) manager or entrepreneur.
Next, we focus on the philosophy of organizational development that Frederic Laloux describes in his book Reinventing Organizations. We provide an overview of self-organization of teams, among others Agile working, working with squads & tribes, The Spotify model, Sociocracy and Holacracy. What are the advantages, disadvantages and ‘points of attention’ of these new philosophies, approaches and forms of leadership and organization?
On the basis of appealing examples, we look at 'frontrunner organizations' in the filed of new leadership and new ways of working. We discuss in detail which HR structures, instruments and practices suit the desire for more contemporary management and new leadership.
In the second part of the workshop we will, together, work on the practical situation and issues of everyone's organization and role. In addition, the trainer will provide relevant practical cases and dilemmas - and solutions for them.
Due to the small group of a maximum of six participants, there is sufficient room and attention for your questions and the situation in your organization and you also learn from each other's experiences, expertise and solutions.
Results
At the end of the day you will have:
• up-to-date knowledge of contemporary HR philosophies, visions, structures and practices associated with new forms of leadership and new forms of organization;
• tools for approaching the situation of your organization, from the role you want to fulfill in it
• thorough HRM and organizational advice;
• a firmer basis for fulfilling your role as an HR professional and increased awareness of how you can put your own values and ambitions and those of your organization first.
Participants receive a syllabus with practical step-by-step plans and checklists, in addition to background information on the topics discussed.
Prior to the workshop, we will ask in a telephone or online intake interview about your learning wishes, your personal values, ambitions and dilemmas and the situation of your organization and your own role in the transition it wants to make.
We also ask about matters such as a collective labour agreement, HR handbook / personnel manual, standard contracts, etc. This allows us to pay ample attention in the workshop to what is important for your field of work.
