In de cursus HTML Fundamentals leert u hoe u de Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) kunt gebruiken voor de opmaak van web pagina's. HTML is geen programmeertaal maar een markup language waarin de structuur en visuele weergave van web pagina's wordt aangeven door middel van elementen en attributen. HTML vertelt als het ware aan de browser hoe een pagina eruit moet zien. Gedurende de cursus bouwt u in elkaar opvolgende oefeningen uw eigen Web Site in HTML. Die Web Site bestaat uit een aantal aan elkaar gelinkte pagina's waarin de belangrijkste elementen van HTML met elkaar samenwerken.

In de cursus HTML Fundamentals leert u hoe u de Hypertext Markup

HTML Intro
Na een inleiding over de basis architectuur van het Internet waarin
Web Servers en Browser met elkaar communiceren via het HTTP
protocol, wordt ingegaan op de basis structuur van HTML web
pagina's.
HTML Elements
Vervolgens worden de verschillende elementen van HTML pagina's,
zoals koppen, paragraphs, tabellen, images, lists, frames behandeld
aan de hand van demos. Ook interne en externe hyperlinks om
verschillende pagina's of delen van pagina's aan elkaar te koppelen
komen aan de orde.
HTML Attributes
Een ander belangrijk onderdeel van HTML zijn de attributen, waarmee
extra informatie wordt toegevoegd en de precieze weergave van
elementen wordt beïnvloed. Attributen worden bijvoorbeeld gebruikt
om een element een unieke id te geven, te refereren aan de CSS
class van een element of een koppeling te maken tussen een element
en een JavaScript functie.
HTML Forms
En ook de structuur en en werking van HTML Forms is onderdeel van
het programma van de cursus. HTML Forms worden gebruikt om input
van gebruikers in de browser op te vangen, te valideren en zo
mogelijk door te sturen naar de server voor verdere verwerking. De
functionaliteit van submit buttons en het verschil tussen POST en
GET requests wordt uitgelegd.
HTML 5
Tenslotte gaat een afsluitende module gaat in op de laatste versie
van de standaard, HTML 5, waarin veel toevoegingen zijn opgenomen.
Aandacht is er dan voor verbeteringen in de opbouw van de structuur
van pagina's en verbeteringen ten aanzien van validatie.

De cursus HTML Fundamentals is bedoeld voor een ieder die wil leren
HTML web pagina's te maken die in onderdeel uitmaken van web
applicaties op het Internet.
Voorkennis Cursus HTML Fundamentals
Kennis van de fundamentele aspecten van het Internet en het gebruik
van een browser is wenselijk om aan deze cursus te kunnen
deelnemen.
Uitvoering Training HTML Fundamentals
De concepten worden behandeld aan de hand van presentatie slides.
Een demo website wordt gebruikt om de concepten te verduidelijken.
Er is voldoende gelegenheid om te oefenen. De cursustijden zijn van
9.30 tot 16.30.
Certificering HTML Fundamentals
De deelnemers krijgen na het goed doorlopen van de cursus een
officieel certificaat HTML Fundamentals.
