Updated three-day ISTQB CTFL training course

ISTQB® is the leading global certification scheme in software testing. Polteq is accredited by ISTQB® as a training provider. In May 2023, iSQI launched the new and completely rewritten syllabus of the ISTQB CTFL. This training is based on this new syllabus and covers testing in sequential models as well as Agile and DevOps models.

This updated three-day ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level v4.0 course provides a general introduction to information systems testing. The objective of the course is to prepare students for the ISTQB® Foundation v4.0 exam.

Some key topics that are sure to be covered include the importance of testing, testing in relation to system development, and the activities and approach to testing in each context. The different phases in a testing project are explained, after which some testing techniques (both black box and white box) are also covered.

This training also includes additional focus on agile topics such as test-driven development, continuous integration, whole team approach and “shift left”. The training covers the basics of testing for both test managers and testers. In addition to theory, the training includes a lot of interactive practice, which helps better internalize what has been learned. A number of mock exams will allow participants to properly prepare for the exam.

Exam
Upon completion of the training, participants receive a voucher that allows them to take an online or physical exam of their choice. This exam is in English, multiple choice. For groups of at least five, a classroom exam can also be held. This training is taught by one of our accredited trainers.
