Na inschrijving van de Award Winning E-learning training Cloud Computing Technology, ontvangt u per e-mail een link om in te loggen in uw leeromgeving waar u een persoonlijk wachtwoord aanmaakt. Eenmaal ingelogd in uw persoonlijke leeromgeving ziet u een overzicht van de cursusonderdelen. Via de inhoudsopgave schakelt u automatisch over naar elk gewenst onderdeel van de training.

De training is inclusief lees- en/of praktijkopdrachten met trainingstest, mits noodzakelijk voor de training. Na afronding van de training krijgt u een Certificaat van Deelname en sluit u zich aan bij de reeds duizenden tevreden cursisten.

NIST definieert cloud computing als 'een model voor het mogelijk maken van gemakkelijke, on-demand netwerktoegang tot een gedeelde pool van configureerbare computerbronnen (netwerken, servers, opslag, applicaties en services) die snel kunnen worden geleverd en vrijgegeven met minimale beheerinspanning of service interactie met de provider.' Dit pad geeft een overzicht van de voordelen van cloud computing en hoe verschillende soorten zakelijke applicaties en services kunnen worden gebruikt in een cloudnetwerkscenario. Het is bedoeld om de leerling een goede kennisbasis te bieden van cloud computing-concepten en de bijbehorende ondersteunende technologieën. Het schetst de voor- en nadelen van cloudcomputing, de verschillende aangeboden cloudservicemodellen, cloudbeveiligingsaspecten waarmee rekening moet worden gehouden en de opties om uw services naar de cloud te verplaatsen. Andere belangrijke concepten die aan bod komen, zijn cloudoplossingen voor gegevensopslag, servicegeoriënteerde architectuur en de cloud, en identiteits- en toegangsbeheerservices.
