The Effective Project Management (EPM) training / workshop aims to support the participants to start developing their skills or refresh their skills and knowledge needed for managing projects in any industry or sector. Participants will explore the purposes, aims and objectives of project management. Effective Project Management (EPM)

The Effective Project Management (EPM) training / workshop aims to support the participants to start developing their skills or refresh their skills and knowledge needed for managing projects in any industry or sector. Participants will explore the purposes, aims and objectives of project management. We will also discuss and analyze the potential issues in running local, regional, national and international projects. Participants will then identify the key deliverables at the different phases of a project life cycle. Participants will investigate how to manage and satisfy the needs and expectations of the internal and external stakeholders. Lastly, participants will practically learn how to conduct an effective risk assessment.

Learning outcomes (LO): 

On completion of this course, Participants will be able to: 

LO1 Analyze the purpose, aims and objectives of a project 

LO2 Implement the define, planning, execution and completion phases of a project

LO3 Identify and resolve potential issues in running a project 

LO4 Satisfy the needs and expectations of the internal and external stakeholders 

LO5 Conduct an effective risk assessment

The target group:

The people who will take advantage of this course can be senior managers, team leaders, employees or individuals who work on projects and will like to improve their project management skills and achieve more effective project outcomes or deliverables.

Program: To learn the most in a short period in a form of a tailor made interactive workshop style, the course is to be booked at least two weeks before delivery date.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance after attending this course.

Effective Leadership and Team Dynamics (ELTD)

 

The Effective Leadership and Team Dynamics (ELTD) helps participants to understand that in an increasingly competitive business environment, it is important for managers as leaders to take the responsibility of driving their teams and organisation towards better performance, organisational effectiveness and competitive advantage. Upon completion of the ELTD workshop, all participants will be able to:

  • Identify their own level of personal effectiveness from the professional personality tests which is included in this workshop.
  • Practically distinguish between leadership and management and why leadership is important to a team.
  • Professionally identify and apply a range of different leadership styles and the likely effect each leadership style have on a team’s performance.
  • Identify the characteristics of an effective team, the advantages of and possible barriers to effectively working in a team.
  • Analyse the role, responsibilities and authority of the team leader and explain how to improve own personal performance.
  • Apply effective motivation and engagement styles within organisations.

 

The target group:

The people who will take advantage of this course can be team leaders, managers or leaders in other strategic roles from any industry and sector who will like to improve their leadership, management and team building skills and achieve more organisational effectiveness.

Program: To learn the most in a short period in a form of a tailor made interactive workshop style, the course is to be booked at least two weeks before delivery date.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance after attending this course.

Learning outcomes (LO): 

On completion of this course, Participants will be able to: 

LO1 Analyse the purpose, aims and objectives of a project 

LO2 Implement the define, planning, execution and completion phases of a project

LO3 Identify and resolve potential issues in running a project 

LO4 Report and evaluate project outcomes 

LO5 Prepare a proforma project plan 

 

Indicative content: 

LO1 - Definition and types of project; defining project and project management,

LO2 - Project life cycle and the key deliverables at each phase

LO2 – Internal and external stakeholder needs and expectations; the project management team; legal issues; risk assessment identifying problems; planning 

LO3 – Recording and monitoring, review and evaluation: methods of reporting: conclusions and recommendations 

LO4 – Project brief; objectives; scope; budget; deliverables; final deadline; key milestones/targets; activity planning; task allocation
