Why writing decision documents?

As a Finance professional you’re expected to write papers for (senior) management based on which they can make decisions and take action. The purpose of these papers is that management has a direct access to enough information.

What can you expect?

During this course you will receive practical tools and methods on how to write papers for (senior) management. You will start with the preparation of the writing process. Followed by setting up the correct structure for the document and lastly how to present the content in the paper. Following these steps, you will make your documents both accessible and enjoyable to read. This will all be based on your own documents you have to deliver or have recently delivered to (senior) management.

Faculty

MSc. Jennifer Kuyper RA CMA has over twenty years of experience in both (senior) financial management and leadership roles, training and education.

Iris Oosterhoorn has a bachelor’s degree in Dutch Language and Culture at the University of Amsterdam. Iris is an expert in the power of words and making a text readable. At This Is Your Work, Iris focuses on writing reports, articles and blogs about financial and organizational matters accessible.

Goal

To provide a stable basis on how to write a strong paper that will give the reader insight on the matter directly, giving that reader adequate information and argumentation to base his or her decisions and actions on.
