The slides of the presentations for the first OKR meetup in Amsterdam organized by Booking.com and Springest.

We wanted to share our experiences with implementing and using OKRs to learn from the way other organizations use them. 

Melanie Wessels discussed how Booking.com implemented OKRs and how they continue to increase adoption amongst the 16.000 employees around the world. She shared her challenges and the way they overcame them.

Ewout Meijer showed how the OKRs are used at Springest and how they are combined with Holacracy. Both speakers discussed the differences in the companies' cultures and how it affected the way OKRs were used.

At the end of the meeting, the group discussed three challenges organizations run into when using OKRs: To connect it to compensation and performance reviews or not? The difference between KPIs and OKRs and whether to use OKRs that cascade or that were created bottom up.
