Course content
The following topics are covered during this training:
- Properties of flammable gases
- Nature of explosive atmospheres
- Zoning and marking
- Risks and responsibilities when entering hazardous areas
- Roles of involved parties
Study Load
The study load for this training
is 9 hours, comprising 7 hours of training and an estimated 2 hours
of preparation per course day. Questions, cases and assignments can
be accessed through the online learning environment.

Completion
Upon completion of this e-learning, you will receive the certificate of participation 'ATEX Awareness e-Learning (Ex 000)'. After completing this online course you can choose to take a written exam. If you pass the exam, you will receive the certificate 'ATEX-Ex 000 EX Awareness'.
Do you also want to be able to work internationally? Then you need a personal certificate that complies with the international IECEx 05 certification scheme. You can apply for such a personal certificate at PBNA. For this application you need the relevant certificate and an 'evidence file" (documents in which the employer has recorded your work experience).
Take notice: If you want to participate in the corresponding (ATEX or IECEx) exam, you need to register for this seperately. Details about this exam can be found on the website of PBNA.
