The certified one-day Professional Scrum Product Owner – AI Essentials training teaches Product Owners how to effectively integrate AI into their daily work.The one-day Professional Scrum Product Owner - AI Essentials (PSPO-AI Essentials) training by Prowareness is a hands-on course designed to help Product Owners and Product Managers effectively integrate AI into their daily work to deliver more value to stakeholders. Throughout a full day filled with theory, exercises, case studies, and discussions with fellow participants, you will learn how AI tools and techniques can be applied across the various stances of a professional Product Owner. For this training, we make use of several tools: a Large Language Model (LLM) of your choice (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude), AI video generation (Synthesia), AI prototyping (Bolt.new or Typeform), AI collaboration (Mural AI or Miro AI), and AI transcription (NotebookLM). Upon request, we can use simulated data, and laptops will be provided for participants. Alternative tools can also be used in consultation if preferred by your employer. The training includes one free attempt at the PSPO-AI Essentials exam, as well as a free retake (see conditions under the “Exam” section).

Objectives

After completing this training, you will be able to: Describe AI and explain how it supports modern product development; Explain core concepts in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and agentic AI; Discuss how AI tools can enhance Product Ownership with practical examples; Demonstrate the use of generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to support product work; Move from theory to practice by embedding AI tools into your daily Product Ownership; Identify ethical and responsible practices when adopting AI tools; Implement AI-informed behaviors as an AI-literate Product Owner in your daily work; Write effective AI prompts for useful output; Use AI for better market insights, user personas, product vision, and validation.

Student profile

The Professional Scrum Product Owner – AI Essentials training is right for you if you: Are a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst, either as part of a Scrum Team or working with a Scrum Team; Have at least six months of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager; Want to learn how to integrate AI into your daily Product Owner responsibilities; Want to discover how AI can support you in product discovery, validation, and value creation; Want to attempt the PSPO-AI Essentials exam and be well-prepared for it; Aim to stay ahead in the fast-evolving world of AI-driven product development. It is valuable, though not mandatory, to have previously taken the Professional Scrum Product Owner Advanced training (or an equivalent) before attending this course.

Education

You need at least six months of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager to successfully participate in this training. Prior knowledge of the Professional Scrum Product Owner Advanced training is valuable but not required.
