Azure Data Factory (ADF): Data Flows (English)

Description

In addition to a workflow engine, Azure Data Factory also has a powerful ETL component: Data Flows. Here you can visually design, execute and manage all kinds of substantive data transformations. But how do you do that right? In this one-day training we will discuss the smart and proper use of Data Flows within Azure Data Factory for your ETL tasks.

Audience

You are familiar with ADF (Azure Data Factory), but you don't just want ADF to do your orchestration: you also want to give substantive transformations a place here. You therefore find it important to know how the Data Flows work and how to deal with them efficiently.

Prerequisites to follow the Azure Data Factory training

For this training it is important that you are already familiar with Azure Data Factory, the Azure Data Platform and the Azure Portal. A good preparation is the training "Azure Data Factory: Orchestration and Development".

  • Core Azure Concepts and familiarity with the Azure Portal are important. As a preparation you could follow the free e-learning from Microsoft " Azure Fundamentals part 1: Describe core Azure concepts "
  • The Azure Data Platform is important. The distinction between the different types of data stores, variations in types of data and ways of processing is discussed in the one-day training Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)

In one day we cover all aspects of Data Flows within Azure Data Factory. We get to work a lot ourselves, so that after the training you can also work with ADF and develop Data Flows yourself.
